This piece provides an almost life size illusion of a dreamy coffee shop world. Wherever you hang this painting, a safe world will wait for you, just beyond that table and chairs. A wispy and warm  world where you may sit with a friend or by yourself  and have a surface for your coffee, tea, and thoughts.  Madeleine Murray’s Cafe Dream painting was inspired by her years of work at the well known Caffe Driade in Chapel Hill, NC where she held her first solo painting shows.  The support she found for her art among the cafe  patrons was quite dreamlike.
